Home Affairs Minister explains the direct citizenship pathway

Australian Home Affairs Minister Clare O'Neil has recorded a short video explaining the new direct citizenship pathway for New Zealanders, opening on 1 July 2023.

We thank Minister O'Neil for her time, and ongoing efforts to support New Zealanders living in Australia. Also, a special thanks to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Minister for Citizenship & Immigration Andrew Giles for their work on the new pathway.
